Dude I dont even like working on my own truck anymore. All I need to do is put the valve cover and coil pack back on the passenger side to go drive it and I had all day to do it since it rained and I still couldnt muster the energy to go do it. If my truck doesnt watch out it will be sold and Ill step up to nnbs duramax

A 224 cam like I told you a long time ago will be perfect for your truck with how high it flash stalls, you need to get rid of those damn gt-IIs for some real tires that will hook. You shouldnt be spinning all four on good concrete like you are with the power you are making, a cam will just make it alot worse. You still need to put spray on it.

If it was me a I would get a 224/228 on an XER lobe on a 110lsa with 0*s advance ground in, will have a mean idle, run damn good down low while cruising down the highway and will run pretty well on the spray with the split, the 110lsa isnt optimal for spray but will give better of juice driving characteristics.

I already got some new tires. General Grabber UHPs. I cant spin em for nothing now, unless its raining.

Stew--is .584 too high for what he has and what he needs? I told him something like 220/220 .566/.566 112+3 XE-R.... Just wondering....

he has a 6.0 motor so a 220 would be a "baby cam". guys with 5.3's love the 220 and its a great cam. he has a bigger motor and better flowing heads so he can get away with a bigger cam without losing drivability. his intake valves are 2.00 compared to a 5.3's 1.89 so he can benifit from a little more lift.

Ok. When I was specifying his cam, I didn't wanna go too high in regards to his AWD and drivability... But now that you mention his intake size, it makes sense...and he does have LT's, so he will be fine with a .584 exh....

Hey guys not trolling here just dropping in a note to say how nice it is to have met Daniel and find someone who also shares the love of trucks like me. I love all things fast but have a soft spot for trucks (mainly becuase were the underdog heavy boys) and well I guess Jeeps now.
Daniel has a badass truck and on any given day can beat or hang with the best of them and I definately respect him and others of the same passion.
Daniel buddy I hope I can make it with you guys to the track this weekend but as I said the girlfriend has me by the short and curlies on stuff like that, anyway guys great forum here and from what I can see some very nice trucks on here. Take care and say a prayer for all the 9/11 victims today

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I read that! Haha never heard it before.

Anyways... Thanks for the compliments Wade. It means alot that you say that even though I got my ass handed to me by a Badass SUV. The only thing that has ever taken me that bad on the street is a nice modded STI. Ya'll guys havent seen Wades Ram yet. That thing is sweet. I forgot what he said he is getting done to it right now, but it was something in the line of a bigger motor. I got the video uploaded so here it is.
