He's not here, he must be by you helping you spell... "loose"...
You wouldn't win because your wording specified my "last 4th cam". My next cam would be my fifth, thereby eliminating the possibility of purchasing a "4th cam" since that purchase had already been made and therefore could not be repeated.

Now, my money please.

Damnit, I really didn't proof-read my stuff. I have this nervous twitch from back in 'Nam...which causes me to accidentially hit the "o" key oone tooo many times... See? it happened again. Can't control it. Damn Napalm...

And wait...the bet is placed upon your 4th cam being the last. And if I remember correctly, you haven't purchased the 4th cam yet? (First being the stock cam, 2nd being the Futral, 3rd being your current Comp cam, and the 4th--TBD) I made the comedic wager that I don't think it will be...so the bet is on the 4th cam being the last. And so if your win that bet, you therefore do not put any more cams in your truck. So, with your winnings from the bet, you go buy a 5th cam (here is where I started laughing)--completely negating the fact that you won the bet that the 4th cam would be your last. Now, with the purchase of the 5th cam, you loooooose(hehe) the bet. Making me the victor in this wager. Actually, we both win. It's just that in this instance, you win the battle, I win the war.

But whatever. I knew exactly where you were going by making the original statement of taking the winnings and buying a new cam. I thought it was hilarious! And I was merely trying to make a lame attempt to keep the comedic trip alive by trying to add a few funny words...but I failed.

Anyway, my cam is in. Comp 220/220 581/581 114 LSA with +3 degrees of advanced timing so the power comes in sooner. I need a tune badly so that the PCM can compensate fo the new air to fuel ratio. It runs good now that the PCM is "learning" the new cam... Valvetrain clatter is louder than expected. Oh well.

Your argument is moot. There can never be a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th "fourth cam" which is what your original wager was for.

Now I have an ice cream headache, thanks.

Anyway, yeah the clatter is from that high lift. I bet ya like it once it's all tuned. How's the low end?

OK, got my eye on a couple of cams...The Thunder Racing 224/224 .563/.563 on a 112 LSA and the Comp 224/224 .581/.581 (LSA unknown at the moment).

Opinions on which would beat compliment my mods and kick hiney from a 20 roll?

One vote for the TR .563 if you have Comp 918 springs.

Moot, schmoot. It sounded good to me...hehe.

Ice cream headaches are wayyyyy better than a Slurpee head aches--those suck!!!!

I really can't comment on the low end yet because I need to have the tune done. It does pull well up top, but I really haven't driven it too much since the install--maybe 50-60 miles. Once the tune is done, I will make sure I post up something --I got a few pics of the install. Danny (Sprayed 99) helped. He was doing a motor build and needed a valve spring compressor tool. I told him I'd run by TRT and see if Billy had one--he did and I just happened to be driving my truck with my cam and stuff in it when I went to go drop of the tool. Danny and I stayed up until 5 a.m. Saturday night installing mine. It was crazy. Thanks to Billy for letting Danny use the tool for his build--and since we had the tool, we did mine too!!!

Dude, that TR 224 would be badass in your truck. The idle will be nice and lopey. I think a .563 is still low enough for you..... It will work very well with your converter...

Yeah I'm anxious to try it out. Gotta sell mine first though.
