Is all that going in the NBS truck since you have the OBS done?
[/b]
No Greg, its going in the old truck. We will finish tuning the 5.3 just for dyno numbers and maybe at least take it to the track once. Then, the forged motor, intercooler, meth, turbo, and maybe a 2 step if it doesnt fall through will all be installed. If it went 12.9 in a 5300lb truck, it should be awsome in one thats 3900lb.
I'm sure I'll be going through the 4L65 soon.
Not sure how much boost Brandon was running, but we will start at around 10psi.
One thing different is that I'll put the turbo in the bed

hell, the hard part is done. It wont be anything to pull the motor now.
I'm just thinking about fitting the intercooler. Not much room in the grill, so I may move the radiator back to fit the intercooler.
I have to say, I'm excited about this one. My goal is 7.0 in the 1/8. If he went 8.2, 7's are easy. I'm just going to tweak it until I get there.

Part of the deal with Brandon, but getting another one is just a phone call away. I'm heading down in another 2 weeks to pick up a low comp. 408. I could have another ready.

Damn, I should have asked buying his setup when I was buying the 408. That's one hell of a bargain for both of you. Keep us updated on the 408 in the CC, I want to see what kind of fuel mileage you get with it. Our little 4.8 CC needs the point removed and a 0 put back in it's place. Oh damn, I forgot, I can't work on my own truck!
