I've seen / heard most run around 15's, every now and then you see a stock 14sec SS.

Bill is taking the Radix SS out the 2nd, should be fun, that truck hauls ass, sometimes it makes my truck feel slow just becuase it doesn't spin and has lots of torque, then i race mine and i like my truck again, hahaha.

We're expecting some high 13's from his truck, we'll see.

I think 13.21 would be more in line with slicks on the SRT-10 but with street tires 13.9 sounds very beliveable.
just for you, lower left column.... 13.12 @ 108 test mule on the factory (probably 100# per rim) 22's

No offence but I don't trust test articles! I'd love to see it real life! I've seen too many unrealistic times from "paper tigers".

no ofense taken. i see where you're comin from, i just happened to see this scan on a dodge forum(yes i still visit).

however, if someone took it down the track, it happened(different if they say what it "will/would" do), these mags just prove who has the better driver(especially with a m6) the way one driver gets 13.9 out of 500+ hp is pathetic, the 13.12 @ 108 matches the mph. hell my buddies Z went 13.17 @ 107.7 last week. the mph=12's.

some may think i have a strong opinion for it, but i'd never buy one, but gotta give credit where its due, fast is fast and this truck is a fast ass brick.

I think that is the point! 500HP is reaching IMO. I think they rounded up a bit kinda like the 345HP Hemi. Not that the v 10 isn't capable of 500 ponies but I think it is detuned bigtime. Anytime you get tire spin you will get a high MPH with a low 1/4 time. I was getting almost the same MPH in the 15's spinning like crazy as I do now running in the 13s.

Also depends on how you launch it...just dead stop to WOT isn't too fast. Brake torque it as far as it can go will yield faster times too...

tire spin = higher ET, not lower(not sure what you meant)

IOW, he coulda spun em to a 13.9 and still trapped 108 or a 15.0 @ 108. The motor is mostly the same motor, with a few more ci, it looses less power through a t56 and pruduces 525 ft lbs of tq(found it after reading). all motors are detuned, look at yours...your first track run was what....14.7 @ 92 or close? then allen tuned ya and booyaa, your a full second faster with a posi

    now lets argue some more

It was 15.7@95MPH(on a crappy unprepaired track) with 2.73 and open diff. Locking diff picked up a full second(with tuning) and 3.73's picked up 1/2 second. What I meant to say was tire spin = higher MPH but higher ET like you said. It seams like when you get traction you get a lower MPH and a lower ET sometimes.

There was a brand new SS at my local track this past wed running 15.2s. Still had the dealer tag on it. I didnt get a chance to talk to him though, too busy picking on a particular Cobra there.

btw.. you guys are correct about the traction/mph issue. A better 60' will net a lower et and mph where poor traction will yield a slower et and higher mph.
