Whatever guys my personal experiences mean nothing I guess

Not all rcsb Hemis will run 14s just like very once in a a while an rcsb 5.3s hit a 14 stock. factory freaks and trucks that just run good.

I was talking about 2wd HEMI powered rcsb's hittiing 14s not 4wds if anyone is getting that confused. The runs Im tlaking about werent on the hugely heavy factory 20s. They weigh 82#s a piece with stock tires on them, switching to 42# combo my buddy's truck had made a 4/10th difference.

The HEMI platform is nice stock and responds well to the limited mods available but they hit a brick wall with their relatively heavy weight and no computer tuning.

5 people in a 5psi turbo charged Avalanche 6,000lbs vs reg cab hemi

    hahahah, no competition.

They are a decent start and have potential, but I think chevy has it.

Don't worry Gabe, you'll only see them in your rear view mirror, lol.

hunk of junk, i raced my in laws rcsb with 20's he had a tune, cai, and exhaust. I raced him bone stock and pulled a length by 70 and he got about a quarter panel on me right off the line. I took my quarter pannel back before 1-2 shift and put a length and a half on him right before the 2-3 shift. I raced a 4x4 hemi a buddy of mine has and he has all the goodies on his and at best all he can do is try to keep his truck in my rear view mirror. you will probably get a bit behind at the take off, i think the dodges have a higher stall or something, but you can real him in like a fish on top. and dont waste your time with a new ford 5.4 either they are like turtle speed all the time.

1slow01z71, i can see the .4 drop in et switching to a lighter wheel tire set up. but 13's from a lightly modded hemi i cant see. I imagine the slicks alone are worth quite a bit plus the lighter wheel tire combo. What gears these guys running?

there are 20+ guys who have seen him run inperson including myself thats the only one that I can show proof of

    They run 3.92s if IIRC.

A VHO is a bt of a different story as far as comparisons are concerned but his truck is a dog if you were able to do that to him. What kind of programmer did he have. The superships is good for 6-7 tenths and the hypercrap is only good for 2-3 tenths.

.6-.7 off his time? I can not see that happending off a hand held programmer. all a spuerchip does is mess with your shift points and ur octane basically.

I can't see a stock hemi runnin 14's much less 13's. I raced an SRT-10 RC and destroyed it. It was only running 9.0's in the 1/8 with some minor mods like a cat back and some other little stuff. He said he runs 13's in the 1/4, but we're talking about a 500 c.i. 500 hp truck. That should give you an indication of how slow the hemi's are.

No way 14's stock, my buddy has one and it ran a 16.5 stock in the 1/4(4 door hemi,no 20's, 17's), with mod, superchips, intake, long tubes, high flow cats, he got it down to 15.2 best run, the superchips on the dodge is actaully the best they can get because their cpu's can be tuned with out getting expensive software and stuff but it gave him a full second on a hemi
