Oh no.....Sorry, I miss typed, Level ten builds a BAD @SS 4L60. It is had for less than 2300 bucks (I think). Check it out, sorry I ment to say I have experience with the 200 not the 4L60. Also, the Allison sucks up a lot more power than most believe, it is a work tranny not a race tranny unless you really throw to it. But then it's 5K for a built allison, anyway, sorry to confuse.

I'm thinking someday I'll go with the 80E, I know it's heavier and absorbs more power, but i'd like to try it.
In the meantime, this badass JAG built tranny is holding up just fine.

Oh yeah, she is deffinitely a work trans. And she does suck up some power but it is a trade off for something that will never break. Plus for me it has the power take off and huge cooler line ports that I require. And out of curiousity, what the hell is a "built" Allison? A stocker is more then enough and runs under $2k in a junkyard with its computer if you get lucky.

As for the 4L80E, she really doesn't suck much more hp then a 4L60E from what my friend said after he did the swap. However its first gear isn't as low so you will feel the loss on the launch.
