To support the turbos, we are using this.

Its Schedule 40 stainless. Its a huge pain in the ass to work with, but as you can see its very think and you can weld the shit out of it.

I was going to work on my this past weekend but i had so much junk in my garage that it took a day and 1/2 to clean it out... Are you going to build a Log style turbo manifold?

Allen, we are just using the 6.0 manifolds. The pipe above is from the manifold to the turbo. This is on the race car, not Altons.
It will be a little before we start that stage of Altons. It will go to be painted in a week.
I will post pics of the race car using this pipe when I am a little further along.

try to add some kind of extra bracket to help take the weight of the torbo, ya that stainless manifold will be big and strong, but think when you are running down the strip and it gets red hot. how easy is a hunk of mettal to bend when you heat it up cherry red?????, my friend has a honda turbo manifold made of the same stuff and when he runs it hard you can see through the stainless tubing!!!! not kidding!!! they get that hot, think about some kind of extra support just to keep the manifolds from deforming with the weight of a turbo on them and then getting so hot that you can see through them.... BOOST IS GOOD!!!!
