My dad told me I was a menace with 2 wrecks, my fault, and 2 tickets before I left high school....
I didn't think a seatbelt was a moving violation???? What is the second option after defensive driving called, defered ejudication(sp?)?????? Look for options, get a court date and at least ask what your options are in front of a judge, never know.

ive wrecked 7 times. totaled 2 cars.
i dont know how many tickets i have. 2 are only on my record. ive done defensive driving every year since i was 16 and been on deferred judification 3 or 4 times. since i was 16.
but im getting better
my only problem is with the seatbelt. i always forget. or it just bugs me

The first time your seatbelt saves your life in an accident it will be your best friend. My fiance, our three kids and I hit a drunk driver at about 50 mph and we all walked away. We were all wearing seat belts. He wasn't wearing one and is 6 ft under now.

I got pulled over for no seat belt in galveston where they don't let anyone off. I had 5 point harnesses in my truck but wasn't wearing the shoulder straps just the lap belts. The cop wrote me a ticket anyway. I went to contest it and the judge dismissed it.
I hope y'all are talking about the small towns in TX. The one's here ain't anything like that. THe only place you have to worry about here is the Military Base in Fort Benning.
