    Its a 6L block that Im doing all this to. I have other plans for 5.3 block Im thinkin a rcsb late 90s s-10 5.7L forged internals with a 60ishmm turbo on it would be fun as hell and set it up to get great gas mileage and be a DD. I dont think a my 418 turbo and nitrous fed truck is going to be too driveable and get good gas mileage with a 3200 stall in my 5600# pig.

    You should be able to pick up an 80e core in a salvage yard for under $100. I have found 60e cores around here for $50.

    Where are you located at? I am moving to Austin in a couple of weeks from Alabama and if I remember correctly you are located nere SA but I could be wrong been a while since I havent been on here in a while.

    I'm in Denton and have the entire DFW salvage yards to pick through. Austin should have plenty also. Picking one out of a core return bin should be easy to accomplish. Many in the bins have nothing really wrong with them.
