    I've got ported/polished/milled 862 heads on a 5.3 and I have to say that they did wonders vs. being in stock form. I couldn't say how much HP they added because I did a cam swap at the same time. They're currently going back on that same block just bored to a 5.7 this time around.

    How much did it run you to get you lr 862s worked on?

    $600ish for the port & polish on top of $250 for the millwork and spring install. The shop I used doesn't do port & polish very often, I only got it done because I was a regular customer.

    AI is supposed to have a killer CNC program for the 862 heads.
