I'd venture to assume this is a truck block which has a larger deck height (10.4" vs 9.8" I think?? Been trying to look it up online, but Internet is slow at work, lol!) This makes a difference in the intake and headers you are looking to purchase. The intake has to be wider than the passanger block intake would be (or you have to use spacers). The headers will sit higher as well, so need to be a bit longer for body fitment. Luckily both options are easy to come by, it's just you have to plan for them. All internals and bolt patterns are the same. You'll also need to consider this for the front mounting brackets for anything mounting off the heads (alternator comes to mind) as it's a little different. Just thought I'd mention.

I'm pretty sure the block bore and stroke are the same but the heads cam and intake and of course TBI are different if your looking to buy new theres a company called wynjammer that makes TBI superchargers I know a guy that had one on a 91 single cab 4.3 and it was pretty salty for a V6 lol I know everyone on here is gonna frown on this build and it's probably on the wrong forum but id like to hear the results of this project!!
Yup wrong forum but I'm still interested in the build! How can anyone not love the thought of a blown big block!
