    find out whats behind it in that location... if you've got the space behind it, a BFH should resolve any concerns you have.

    i had to remove the passenger side heat shield . i cut it a little and was still too close so i didnt put it back.
    it should be ok i have some heatshield stuff that i put under my carpet i while back.
    i used 1'' set back mounts so dont know if everyone is seen this results ,

    on my 97 the heat shield is like 1/2-3/4" away and i have no problems installing them using dirty dingo mounts other then i used header studs and that took a little grinding on the a-arm to slide them up in there.
