I had a little issue like that when I was wiring the stereo on the boat. Could not for the life of me remember what ohms I was wiring at. I had to google. I'm like you though, stereos are the last thing on my list of priorities right now.

I had to make my own, it's basically a large thimble with a vacuum fitting on it. I use a syringe for vacuum action
