    I love these threads! I work at a dealership and can tell you 90% of what the press reports never makes it to production. A multi valve ls with direct injection would rule.

    Current engine with direct injection would kill all.

    The rear of the new vette is ugly! Hope it doesn't stay that way.

    Wonder how expensive large flow direct injection stuff will be????

    I know that they are trying really hard to make the new Silverado interior quieter, the new steel they are using is actually coated in a plastic that is a sound deadener. The whole floor pan, firewall and dash is going to be made out of this, we just started doing tryouts at work for the new parts. Very interesting stuff!!

    I was at the dealer the other day.
    Wanted to order a 6.2L in a RCSB. They were surprised I asked and they told nope won't happen.
    So I asked if I bought a 6.2l could they swap it and honor the warranty.
    Nope not happening.
    GM does not care about performance in trucks. They might make a better pull rig. Butbthe hot rod truck died a long time ago.
    Side note. We can turbos to any of the trucks.

    Chris has done a 6.2 and 4l85e swap thats covered under factory warranty... the old man bought everything brand new from gm and its on stock factory 6.2 tune. The old man has the paper work to prove it...

    Ive seen this truck ..... it is for sure a sleeper i doubt most people would be able to tell that anything was ever changed under the hood hell even the airbox still said 5.3L on it LOL
    Barks better than it bites......
