Just so every one is on the same page, put a torque wrench on it and tell us how many FT.LBS. it takes to turn.

Took out the plugs and it turned freely. I'm not sure if I'm going to do a compression test or leak down. The yard I bought it from told me they did a compression test and it was fine.
If I were to buy a compressor, any reccommendations? I won't use the compressor for anything else, only for this engine swap. Is there a small compressor ou there for $100 that will be fine for this project?

absolutely but you'll be waiting for it to build up air pressure a lot of the time.

Thanks for the info. RedHeartbeat. I guess I'll try a Harbor freight compressor. They have a pancake one on sale for $65.00. I'll see how it works.

Dont waste your money on the pancake compressor! It wont have enough air capacity to use any air wrench for any duration. Better to get a 10 to 15 gallon compressor.

Just borrow one or do a rental from a parts store if you don't plan on ever using it again.

I didn't know that parts stores "rent" compressors. I'll call around and see what they say.
