seriously, they quit importing the mp's and now import the same exact turbo and call it a magnum? that's some funny stuff there.

Magnums are not the same turbos, they are just for the most part built to the same specs as the Master Power. The same guys who were importing the MP's started the new Magnum line with another turbo MFG company when MP stopped importing.

It was Master Power decision to stop their US Performance division, Master Power is a very large OEM turbo MFG and this was just a small part of there biz.

So I guess the question is are the Magnum turbos as good price wise and performance wise as the MP's were?

They're about the same price, maybe a few bucks more, but performance seems to be just as good if not better. I have a Magnum 72bb on my truck right now and it's performing very well. Allen is running a couple on his truck and I believe he is happy with them too.

Has the same 1 year warranty as the MP's had too.

    Well picked up a MP T70 with a .81A/R.

now for injectors i was looking at 60 lbers
    Hp tunner pro for tunning
Ive seen some kits run a 38mm wastegate and prsonaly seems small so i was gonna start with a 44mm ??
Fuel pump just a 255 or 310 walbro what ever i can find in the shop.
    Tial 51mm BOV
I want to run a water to air intercooler ifi have the room. As im a 99 silverado and want to keep ac so front nose room is llimted for a front air to air.

Anything else im forgeting ? What map sensors do you guys run ?

I also scored a LS6 cam for the build

Front mount intercoolers are actually pretty simple to build and mount on these trucks. It can be mounted in front of the radiator without too much difficulty. I would say the 38mm WG should be fine unless you plan on lots of boost. As for the fuel pump I would suggest a bigger one like a Walbro 340 or bigger. If you plan on spinning the motor up over 6500rpm I would suggest getting hardened push rods and some better valve springs LS6 springs should work great. Good luck! Sounds like a great start on an awesome build.

What kind of truck do you have? Trucks weigh more than most hondas...more mass to push forward...tranny is gonna take a beating unless you upgrade that also. I went through a 4L60 in about six months on ten #. HP is gonna find the weakest link in the chain. Just sayin'....
