Cant leave the fox with the chicken on the side youre crossing from to drop off the seed. Endless is the big winner

Endless is closest, just can be done in fewer steps.

Chicken across. Get fox. Trade for chicken. Go back trade chicken for seed. Take seed. Go get chicken.

And George, for his sake, I hope they did. If not, at least he has a nice place to store his truck.

It's a dang creek. Throw the fox over. Throw the seed over. Carry the chicken across. No reason for multiple trips. It's a CREEK.

    I win.

    Next riddle, please.

About the same number of steps
Either way its all about keeping the fox and bird food together.

Does a Catholic priest prefer a 10 year old Scotch or a 10 year old Scott?

No. The Scotch isnt old enough and the Scott is too old.

A man had twelve toothpicks in front of him. He took one away. Now he had nine in front of him. How is this possible?

The 11 toothpicks were arranged in the form of a number 9.
