    well guess i need to get down to the salvage yard and buy some new panels, thanks for all the input guys, that dirt track car was cool but thats not quite what i was thinking i still drive mine everyday when i can. i did start relocating all my wiring its a pita.

    Another thing you can do is use some of that duplicolor spray on bed-liner from an auto parts store and spray the interior with that. that way you wont need carpet, it protects against heat, rust, and noise, and its not very heavy. its also extremely inexpensive. My buddy used herculiner on his interior and it looks really nice. he is giving me the leftovers so i can eventually do mine.
