Thread: Nelson Performance tune ?'s

    Hey Allen I'm ready for a tune. I'm just gonna go ahead and get the tune before i put the 4l80 in. I think my 65 might still be ok because my brother said he took his cats off of his 01 and after he did his transmission wasn't shifting correctly because he didn't bypass the o2 sensors. After he fixed the o2 sensor problem everything was alll good. I think this is the case with my truck being that i started to experience shifting problems after I installed the offroad headers w/o cats. Also I finally realized why my truck cuts out mid burnout or heavy acceleration which is due to torque management so i think you guys can bypass that too right?

    IMO, have it all removed, you can control TM with your foot
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
