guy crashed his gxr right in front of me

So i was on my way home from work and it was about 9 o'clock at night. im waiting at a stop light to turn left and go on the road to my house. there is a guy on a gxr street bike waiting in front of me. He keeps revving his engine and as soon as the light turns green, books it. i didnt think much of it other then hmm he must be in a hurry to be some place. as i come around the bend about .5 miles down the road i see a cloud of dust and pieces everywhere then i see his smashed bike laying on the ground. Me and another guy pull over immediately and run over to try and find him. we find him after about 5 minutes of searching laying in a ditch covered in weeds. He wasnt moving and because of his backpack and jacket we couldnt see if he was breathing at all. after about 3 minutes he started moaning so we knew he was alive. I had already called 911 at this point so we were just waiting for the fire an ambulance to get there. The worst part was the guy started to scream and try to roll around no matter how many times we told him he has to keep still and not move encase he has serious injuries, so we had to hold him and try and keep him calm the best we could. after about 10 min the fire show up and load him up. His legs were definitely broken and prob had some broken ribs and maybe arms, luckily he was wearing a helmet. As they loaded him into the ambulance i herd him say his name, so i am hoping the kid is ok. His estimated speed was between 110 - 115. After seeing that any wanting for a bike went right out the door for me.

dont throw wanting a bike out because of that. driving wrecklessly is the act of the driver.

I agree, You have to respect anything with power under you. As long as you be smart and do risky things in the right place and under the right conditions, you will enjoy a bike. I know I miss having one and I've seen a few wreaks myself.

You get on a bike, your going down at some point, it just happens. There are only 2 reasons you wreck, stupidity, or an idiot in a car.

I layed my Gixxer over at 45 because a car ran a red light in front of me. My only option was hit it or lay it over. I layed it over. Luckily that day was nippy and I was wearing my jacket, jeans, and boots. Half the time I rode in shorts.

Luckily for me, I was fine. The bike had major cosmetic damage + handlebars. Also, the driver of the car saw what happened and pulled over. His insurance covered it all.

Yeah that happened to us bout a month ago in Lubbock. A guy on a Harley. Same thing, gettin on the throttle but in heavy traffic. Well he lost control and rolled and when he did, his head smashed into the curb. No helmet. Got out and tried to stop the bleeding from his head but he didn't make it. His legs were like jello too. Some people were so freaked out around us they just had this cold stare. God bless his soul!! You guys be careful out there. You play you pay!!
