dont throw wanting a bike out because of that. driving wrecklessly is the act of the driver.

I agree, You have to respect anything with power under you. As long as you be smart and do risky things in the right place and under the right conditions, you will enjoy a bike. I know I miss having one and I've seen a few wreaks myself.

You get on a bike, your going down at some point, it just happens. There are only 2 reasons you wreck, stupidity, or an idiot in a car.

I layed my Gixxer over at 45 because a car ran a red light in front of me. My only option was hit it or lay it over. I layed it over. Luckily that day was nippy and I was wearing my jacket, jeans, and boots. Half the time I rode in shorts.

Luckily for me, I was fine. The bike had major cosmetic damage + handlebars. Also, the driver of the car saw what happened and pulled over. His insurance covered it all.

Sucks that happened, but you were lucky the driver stopped and took responsibility. Lots of people would have kept on driving.

my great uncle died riding his harley last weekend. It was his own fault, he got in an arguement and took off and hit a light pole with his head. Most accidents are caused by cars not seeing us/or even looking. ride safe brothers

Yeah that happened to us bout a month ago in Lubbock. A guy on a Harley. Same thing, gettin on the throttle but in heavy traffic. Well he lost control and rolled and when he did, his head smashed into the curb. No helmet. Got out and tried to stop the bleeding from his head but he didn't make it. His legs were like jello too. Some people were so freaked out around us they just had this cold stare. God bless his soul!! You guys be careful out there. You play you pay!!
