    I'm thinking the 80e would be even more of a dog due to the gear ratios in the tranny and I thing the 80e pulls more power from the engine due to the internals, just my opinion. If you want to smoke them little cars 3.73 or 4.10 and a stall probably do the ticket and get it tuned as soon as available.

    the doggy part of the 80e is the stock convertor, replace it with a 10" and you won't notice its there other than the convertor unlocking on decel.

    Gears are the quickest way to increase acceleration. Ive seen around or up to 50hp increase by doing this. Im goin 4.10 in mine and dont think higher rpms kills gas mileage. Speed is what kills your mileage.

    haha, not this one, but the other 07 we're doing is getting the 80e, this v6 to v8 truck is getting old school wiring and mech. throttle body.
