The difference between winning and losing, is having a 2nd stage.
Mine use to read all over the place until I adjusted the output rate to 1/6th of a second. Now it stays fairly steady. The LC-1's can read fast enough to pick up individual exhaust pulses and show lean and rich spikes.
Another issue you might be seeing is the o2 sensors cross counting. The factory sensors only read around 14.7 so the factory ecm makes the afr go rich to lean at a fast rate. This allows it to cross the 14.7 point several times a second in order to adjust fuel trims. Your LC-1 may be picking up on this also.
