yep, personal preference, I've heard many great Kicker systems, but also many great JL, RF, MTX,etc. But, also heard terrible installs, never really blamed the product as much as install most of the time.

right, if you can't tune then the best speakers on the market won't help you. The thing is, when you are using an eclipse headunit and no other amp, the only thing to blame is the speaker or the headunit. Eclipse has always made the best sounding heads on the market so I know it wasn't that. As far as install, I'm one of the best installers there is because I was trained by one of the best. It's really hard to screw up a set of coax's anyway. It's all a matter of what you are looking for and what you want. I want ear piercing highs with loud, clear mid-range. I like Diamond audio and Eclipse, I have bought other products, but these two are the only ones I will continue to buy.

Gary Biggs sounds familiar. Chuck Pace is who taught me everything I know, He owns Pace Audio Inc. (Chuck's Car Stereo and Carlton Auto Images). He is an authorized Diamond Audio, Eclipse and Rockford Fosgate dealer.

Yeah, I guess I CAN give credit where it is due. Some people who run Kicker have set world records in SPL. It's just not for me.
