Bro, your question was answered in the subject line to this thread. The problem is that they are women. This is what they do. This is what they will always do. This is what you need to get used too. Enjoy your truck, let her tell you what to do all the time, and just never listen to her when it comes time to make the final decision. This is not an attack against women, because in all honesty, they are probably right about us wasting money on these things, but this is what WE do. This what WE will always do. Carry on with your misguided ways, and just do what makes you happy, bro

Women waste money on shoes/accessories. That's what they do. Don't try to understand it.

Guys waste money on vehicles. That's what we do. Don't try to understand it.

In the end, it pretty much evens out IMO.

    Well said....

Like Mang213 said, it's just the way it it. No matter what you do, keep it, or sell/trade it, she/they will say the same things. You will just end up modding the new one and the cycle will start all over again. I've been married for almost 8 years, and my wife is the same way. She says she says stuff like that because she knows me, and as soon as I get bored with it it's gone and then the next one comes in and it starts all over again. And that's the truth, in the nearly 8 years we have been married I've had 2 NBS Silverados, a NBS GMC, a 71' C-10, a 96' Z24 Cavalier, a 97' Z28, a 86' Silverado, a 89' GT Mustang, and prolly more. All were modded and countless dollars and time whent into each one. When I got tired of one I got rid of it and moved to the next one, and repeated that process over and over again.

Just remember you won't get what you put into you truck back, trust me you will regret and wish you never did it. Maybe instead of spending more money into modding it use that money to help pay it off so you can keep it, or buy a little beater car to daily drive.

A kid at work just swapped for a plain ECSB 07 GMT900 with a 4.8 and swapped on his ghetto wheels, commenting that the truck was now a "panty-dropper".

I didn't know whether to laugh hysterically or

A certain black GMT800 all shined up has worked for that purpose, mudflaps, snapon light covers and all, even the "A country boy can survive" plate in the back window
