Go to Joe and save a lot of time and hassle.

If you're planning on that STS kit, then you may want to skip the 60E and go for the 80E, imo these trannys are good for about 450hp for about one year.
The internals just weren't meant to handle the abuse.

How long does it take Jag to turn a transmission around. It sounds like its been two or three weeks since Jag started the rebuild.

do you mean my rebuild. if so we were doing a few things extra that i asked. we had to find a good core with no problems. im also waiting on my vig converter to come in. it has a spring and a couple a small pieces that need to be put in the pump to make it work. and i believe that some parts took a little longer. if you are wanting a fresh rebuild on a 60e i think he has them in stock. for the 80's he will have a to find a suitable core to build. i know joe and family and i have seen his work. that is why i am waiting for his tranny to be in my truck and no other. special requests such as mine will take a little longer.

I guess it will be worth the wait if it holds up to all that you throw at it. Hell, maybe you ought to consider a detroit allison tranny!!

Stronger transmission means you can throw more juice at it. Next thing I know you'll be adding the direct port NOS on top of what you already have. Two stage NOS is cool.
