The truck shootout was last weekend man !!... There were only 6 of us... I tried to dial in an 11.20 and could never judge the other trucks well enough to do worth a darn 11.80@127 all over the track... One guy runs 9.70s N/A with a Carb.. his dial in was 10.30 in his heat...... its hurting everyone... Thanks for the comments about last night on my truck.... I can only muster mid 10s in his heat on street tires .. That track was alot better off the starting line then temple has been for me !!... If i catch you out there friday we can log your truck and see exactly whats going on... and this gives you more time to get miles on it..

whoops....my bad one of your buddies told me to come out next week i thought he mentioned something about a shootout oh well... but yeah the starting box was actually pretty sticky but after the 60' it was pretty especially once you get close to the quarter mark where your not sure if you are still on the track or in the middle of a field? lol

Oh well had lots of fun with ya and im gonna request off friday to see if i can come to academy and check you out again!!

this thing feels like im pulling pluto out of the hole and doesnt wanna move till i get to the eighth then it opens up pretty good...i just got my new tune in today for the longtubes and ORY and the shifts feel like poo and just sluggish down low....is this normal with long tubes or did i do something wrong or is it a tuning issue should i call allen? any help would be appreciated.

BTW i saw casey out there.....it looks like a jet turbine on the back of that thing!! watch out guys that thing is nasty fast!!!!

I never pay attention to my times during the summer months. You should have called me. I would have gone.

That track always seems to run slower for me. Im always 2-3 tenths slower there then any other track. Not to mention the DA last night was over 3000. Wait until january or february and we'll hit up little river on a cool non humid afternoon and you'll go low 15s easy.

What gears do you have? That could have a lot to do with it being sluggish out of the hole. You also need to get more miles on the new PCM.

Prarie Hill always has decent track prep, they have to with all the big trialer cars that run there, thats the majority of what does run there, so they put some rubber down.

My bad it didnt even cross my mind man i'll hit you up next time for sure!! it everyone says thats not too bad for that gawd awful humidity and heat so im starting to feel a little better

but as far i know im looking for a set of 4.10s and a stall i think that would help me out of the hole a little better but i not to sure on the stall cuz i wanna match it to the cam im gonna get.

gonna check with work and HOPEFULLY i might get to make it out to little river friday by then ill have some more miles on the tune and what not

thanks for all the feedback guys!!

I'm with Skeet on this one! I have NEVER heard of a tune needed some time to work out! That's a tuners excuse??? Very Funny one if it is!! Too me he got HEAT STROKED it don't only happen to the Lightnings But I quess if you heard it at HPTV they might Know something Skeet, myself or my tuner don't know for that matter!!
