    anybody here compare the nelson tune to a blackbear tune and have any opinions on the 2?

    Watch it though...I went in for "just a tune" and $12K later, I'm still spending money in his shop. Worth every penny though!

    I don't know anyone using blackbear. I got a Nelson mail order tune and it made my truck go ape-poo. I love it, I just can't wait to go and get it live tuned by him.

    Well i know it seems everyone here swears by nelson but yo go over on gmfullsize forum and everyone says blackbear. i believe nelson is just a bigger company.

    Black Bear Performance :: Custom Tuning Solutions for 96 and newer GM Vehicles

    supposed to be the same as nelson and they can mail you a wire to read your trucks data and you email them the data then they will tune it based on your trucks readings etc

    no lol i was asking to see if anyone had a opinion from trying both of them if ones better or worse or the same etc
