The 04 Vortech stats are out every where. Every web site I have been to shows an 04 160 deg stat. $19.95 - $26.95 is the range of prices I have seen. SLPOnline has them.

Wow, two dinky little 12" fans will cool a high perforance 4.8/5.3/6.0/8.1? That's awesome! I wonder how they will hold up to 108 degree Texas summers.

The part number for the second item has 8 digits, is that correct?
Yeah I think those are the same diameter as the LS1 fans. I have them on both my trucks and they work fine. I live in Texas also...

I think on a triple relay setup like that comes on an F-bod/C5 stock those fans would be killer on pretty much any street application.

Oh yeah, I have LS1 fans on mine, too. I guess I didn't realize they were only 12" in diameter. How wide of a radiator is the fan shroud on the '05? I have a 34" radiator and it would be nice to have a shroud that covered the whole thing. My LS1 only heats up when it idles for too long. If I rev the engine up to about 1500 rpm for a few seconds the water temp drops back down to about 180. I wonder why it doesn't circulate water good at idle.

Well, after no response from this guy, maybe we can assume that he really didnt know what he was talking about. They arent exactly a direct drop in. They will fit, but with a bigger radiator. Here is my post about it on ls1tech. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...=198125&page=2

That is not even considering that you cant even get all of the parts right now, unless he snatched the radiator and fan off of a new one or something like that.
