Ricky...if that old douche is still there when you graduate...walk right up to him and kick him in the nuts....he deserves it! But yeah I had the same problem with my old job...I was basically doing all the supervisor duties and what not and someone tries to blame me for doing nothing and blah blah blah....I told them check the chore sheet, the cameras, and ask the other employees who were working. 2 weeks later I quit that place cuz I couldnt stand how stupid it had gotten. The only thing is its kinda tough to find a job right now....and your super close to a degree so I would have to say to just tough it out for a lil while longer...dont stop looking for a job but dont quit till you find one...and when you graduate come back show the douche your diploma and give him a swift kick to the nuts!

I had the same **** when I worked at checker(csk auto), I got in trouble for helping customers too much(I put a belt on for a some lady when the store was dead, and helped put in a few headlights for other people)I can in late a few times and was told that if I cam in late again or kept hanging out with customers I would be fired.

of the 3 times I was late, once I got stung by a bee on my nose and couldn't see, once I had a family emergency and called in, and once I was just running a little late and got stuck behind a train.

I didn't know much when I worked there but only one of the assistant managers knew more then me, and one guy who worked on the comercial side. my manager kept trying to get me to sell those stupid china made dirtbikes and I told her I wouldn't sell what I wouldn't buy. after that she just wanted me gone.

So it seems like everyone gets this in there life time. That makes me feel a little better lol. My old manager HATES that I am still working there and that I know more about his department then he does lol. The other guys come to me when they need help not him. I still am learning a lot about that stuff though, there is one other guy who knows just about everything in the department.. Its hilarious to watch the manager try to argue with him because he is 100x smarter then him.

Man if you wanted to be a jerk Id go to the main dude and tell them you want a copy of that tape now. And when asked why be like "I am going to HR (as in the people over your people) since you dont want to do a thing about this" I bet you see something done fast

I dropped it and moved on. Because the store manager was nice enough to move me into another department and not even think twice about my credibility. Well I get into my new area, and start training.. everything is going good. Until my new manager comes in and tells me I actually have to do work and can't say this isn't my job. I just about blew up.. I talked to the other associate who works with me now, he said my old manager came to him and the new manager and said I got kicked out of tools for not doing any work, and they just tossed me in there. I went straight to HR told her, she was furious, she went to the store manager told him, he isn't happy either. He talked with my new manager and co workers, told them what happened, stood up for me ect. HR gave me the number to sears employee complaint department and told me to call Monday and report him. I am doing just that, so is a few other of my old co workers because they can't believe what the new manager is doing.

I think Greg is right about the lawyer but maybe tell the DM that you're going to speak to one unless some kind of grievance is filed against this prick . There should be a series of steps to handle these kinds of issues in place at Sears . Once they start interviewing everyone they might just fire his sorry azz . I'd try to find out maybe where he worked before , bet he's been fired elsewhere .
