Headers... who needs them? There happens to be a 6.0 on this site running 12.3's on a with ported and polished manifolds. =)

Spray isn't an option, unless I wanna pay either massive insurance or massive fix-it tickets and impound fee's. Yeah I want to go faster than that eventually but for now I think a 13 truck on the streets would be fun.
I'm running K&N FIPK, Pacesetter LT's, Offroad Y-pipe, flowmaster system with a series 40 muffler, Crane Cam's 212/218, 918 springs and a 4.56 rear gear running on 31.5" diameter tires with a local guys tune, stock tranny and stock stall. If you had a stock diameter drag slick, you could put this set-up in the 13's in the 1/4 mile and 8's in the 1/8th.

And HIC leave my poor mud flaps alone I hate them too but rock chips are worse, and as far as the cheap bike goes, 1983 Honda CB650 12.42 for $600.

Since it is a standard just replace new stall with new clutch and plenty of track time.

Yeah, everyone is right on track with the mods needed. But a 13 sec truck like yours is going to need a better tranny than the NV3500 that is in it now. Some people say that it can handle the power...but then again people say that about a 4L60e. I would try and to a T-56 swap into it as soon as you can.

I'd say 13's would be fairly easily done for $1500 with a RC stick...

TSP has the Pacesetter headers for $269
    Dual Exhaust $250 (around here)
TSP Torquer v.2 or v.3 cam kit $600 (springs and rods come with it)
Move your MAF to right in front of the intake and add a cone filter straight out front.

I'm so tight that my small list of mods seemed really expensive. Maybe it was because I did it all at once?
