    LQ4/LQ9 are the same block and the LQ4 block will be cheaper to buy because they won't be tearing apart a HP engine to get a block. You could just go for a LSX block and then you can put whatever size pistons you want in it after boring it to fit, up to 4.125 I think. Double check that but I know 4.06 is good. The LQ4/9 block is available in first quality ready to use bare block from SDPARTS.COM
