Kinda true. You are just in a dead spot between your gears.

+1definantly! just get some damn 4.10s and a locker ben, and you'll be happy as $hit. remember, your not always gonna be in your powerband at certain speeds and your truck is going to want to lug the gear. that's just the way it is, its gonna happen either with 3.42's or 4.10's. it just gonna happen at different rpms between the two. but in my opinion, with 4.10s you feel like you have more all around power...its just gonna rev a little more on the highway.
