I just priced out headers for the truck.... Pretty much $1200-1400 bucks installed ($600 was just the labor) for roughly 15 HP? just doesnt seem worth it... thats almost $100 dollars for every 1 HP!! So what kinda of nightmare is a person in for if the bolts are broken, i know my manifold is broken and would guess the bolt is sheared off as well

Well the broken bolt in mine is why I have an LQ9 on the way. I spent 3 days trying to get the basterd out.So what kinda of nightmare is a person in for if the bolts are broken, i know my manifold is broken and would guess the bolt is sheared off as well

broken bolts can lead to irritating exhaust leaks making you think you have a noise in the engine. A severe leak can lead to burned valves.

Well, the date is set, Next Monday I drop the truck off for a Magnacharger install / Header install... Got the price out the door for the install to $6300.. this includes a tune.
Once that is done, I think Im going to to chill for alittle.... I took a look at the credit card and noticed 18K spent and I dont even have 1000 miles on it yet!!!
Better start saving for a built trans, because thats what your gonna need next. I dunno how long the stocker will last with 35's and a blower. My stocker was still ok when I pulled it out for my FLT unit. The torque converter was about fried though. Im not running 35's though.

The Blower is on and Im loving it.... Not to worried about the Trans right now, With the 35's on there I dont see myself shredding the tires, the bigger tires really slow the truck down and in this case I think will help save the transmission life.
