I bet with that cam it gives you some massive top end, and on the bottle I bet it comes out of the hole damn good. But as far as Daniel told me nitrous isnt in the near future and he wanted a good driving truck with no quirks and the larger cams you start getting driveability problems but of course everyones definition of driveability is different. I ran 237/242 cam with a 4K stall in my Z for a few thousand miles.
Most definately agree....he for some reason mods to mods before our cams ran way better times on motor....my cam is a 233/238...but yes i called Texas Speed and told them my setup and what size shot i was running and this is the cam they custom grinded for me....i see the point you are making...with the smaller cam and the 3000 stall he will prob get him a real low 1.8 to high 1.7 60' and get him into the low 13's maybe even high 12's.....there's no doubt he will walk me on motor to motor...my last time out with the new cam and some problems i went 8.9 but picked up 3mph and kept the same 60' with a 1.95....but i would still love to run him in the 1/4 to see if i fetch him on the big end

I just wanna see you guys run motor to motor---just for the sport of it. Two 03 Red cammed SSS... Sweet little match up! But yes, both trucks will act quite differently based upon the cams that you guys have gone with...Daniel's will react quicker off the line, but Virgil's will hopefully have enough grunt up top to even out at the end of the 1/4...

Damn Cody...your truck does move really well for being such a heavy pig running on those big ass tires... I am really wanting to see what kind of track numbers you will run...

Honestly, I dont have anything for you guys right now, the real tune I have to load would limp my tranny before I got out of first gear. In 4hi the truck doesnt spin much because of all the weight over the front end, it chirps all four with the tow tune, my other semi-tranny safe tune should spin just a little. The tune that I have ready to load up in another truck ran 13.7@97 on 33s. After I get the built trans in this summer Ill come to play for real.
