So how easy would you rate that swap? I realize thats what every other thread is about but you know..

    92 Silverado, 15.7 @ 85, 350 TBI 700R4, 3.42s, flip kit, spindles, shaved tailgate, mirror fillers, 5% tint, 35% windshield, 235/60-15, 295/50-15
02 Tahoe, 16.6 @ 88, 5.3 4L60E, stripped roof rack & steps & trim and badges, dropped 3 in. in the rear, smoothed and painted mirrors and handles, super 44

I would say the swap is very easy after doing three of them. If you get the wiring harness converted that makes it easier.

The wires need identified as to where to hook them up and fuses will be added to the power circuits. I'm not sure what all NelsonPerformance does when they convert a harness but it makes it very easy to add the wiring to the existing harness.

just tie the right wires together and get fuel to the fuel rail at the correct pressure. Read the LS1 to OBS conversion topic a few times and see if you think you can pull off the swap. Grab your local buddies, a few cases of beer and have a weekend thrash for the big stuff. The small stuff will eat up your time for a week of evenings tieing up the loose ends.

so basically once you get the engine and tranny in then its mainly just about fuel system and a bunch of wires?

yeah, you could but there is no reason to remove it, just cut the wires that aren't being used.
