    1. plug wires are good for looks, stock wires have seen 11 second 1/4 mile times without issues.
    2. dont get shorty, or mid length headers. Get Longtubes. Shorties dont give you anything.
    3. if you get a shift kit and servos, be sure you get a retune before installing... too much load on tranny.
    4. never use a hand held.
    5. to make big power, you will need forced induction or Nitrous. Or spend allot on all motor mods.
    6. dont buy tornado's, horsepower chips, fuel magnets, tb spacers, or octane boosters. if you want higher octane fuel, buy it.
    7. dont let Tyler talk you into '' visiting him '' he will try to touch you.
    8. dont listen to dodge guys, they run tb spacers and mufflers and call it having allot done to the motor.
    9. realize that you are the under dog in a race. Cars, hemi's, bikes, even ricers think you are slow, but thats the fun part when you are pullin away from them. (except the bikes)
    10. hope you have a thick wallet, patience, and enjoy the ride.
oh yeah... I almost forgot... the 4l60e will crap out eventually so plan on spending a grip on a level 5 from FLT, or a 4l80e.
    most important rule haha #7

I have always had one on my truck so i was not sure about the tbspacer. I had someone that bought it for me after they put one on the 6.0 2500 and it increased his gas mileage. So should i keep it on or take it of and sell it?

Allen has tuned my Pickup and Everything still runs great! No problems here! Just wanted to state my opinion!

Nice Jeffrey... You make very good points here--for once! hehehe...

But, I have a few changes:

1.) Yes, just for looks. Stock wires are fine...until you get into the 600 RWHP range...
2.) Shorty are ok, but not worth the price. Mid-Length are better--good for mid and low RPM power. Long tubes are the best investment. PEROID. Pacesetters biatch!
3.) A shift kit and servos are a good temporary mod for the 4L60e. It will help with extending the life of your tranny before it goes BOOM. But as always, get the tune done to match tranny mods as well...
4.) True Dat brotha! If you buy a handheld, proceed with the following instructions: Take out of box; hit yourself in head with programmer several times until you start bleeding; clean blood off programmer and put back in original box; wipe blood from head off the floor; return hand held and order custom tune; by then your head should be healed. You will learn from your mistake not to buy a hand held programmer again...
    5.) Yes. Yes. Yes.
6.) If you do, follow instructions given listed above in #4.
7.) I am not going to ask for you to visit. I am not going to touch you--unless (by weird chance) you are an EXTREMELY hot chick...
    8.) EXACTLY.
    9.) G.A.S. about this honestly... (G.A.S. = Give a S h i t)
10.) If you don't already know this, you are in BIG trouble mister...

I'm running a screenless MAF and always have inluding the older vortec 350's with no issues. You won't gain with this mod unles you go FI or larger TB, heads and headers from my dyno experiences.
