I'm running 3.73 gears in my K1500, 3000 stall, 265-75R16. With mid 800-900HP 408 w/16psi of boost I can smoke em off running down the freeway at 65. I haven't done many launches so far but I will in the spring. My gears are Strange with Eaton carbon fiber clutch disk posi. They do whine but are tighter tolerance than stock is why they are noisy. The noise can be toned down.
Holy Cow! That's a screaming machine. I'd love to see that thing run.

I'll get some video together when the weather gets a little nicer here.. Roads are pretty salty and slick right now.
