Damn, that looks like fun! That car idles about 1500 or so, huh? Sounds tough.

Bad ass video!!! I did not see much turbo lag there. How much will I be limited by using the GT70 instead of the GTS-76? It would cost me another 1K to upgrade to the GTS-76.

I assume the 76 would be used for 12xx otherwise let me know where I can find one for so cheap.

Got a 76 on a 6.0L and no lag at all. A T76 is what you need. You can pull 15 psi easy. Ask Allen Nelson, he may be able to get them at a reasonable price. nelsonperformance.com

That's how much boost(15psi) I want to run. Is the GT70 to small for the amount of air the engine needs?

Thanks, I will try Dr. Turbo to see if he has a Garrett GTS-76 turbo for under $1300.

BTW, what size injectors do you think I will need? I am not installing the turbo yet but I need to start preparing for it.

I tried searching the member list on LS1Tech for a Dr. Turbo and no luck. Does he go by something else?

How about the Siemens 60lb injectors for both N/A and boost? I am only going to be N/A for a short time, just long enough to break in the engine and get some baseline numbers.

The 60lb injectors(@3 bar - 43.5PSI) are good for up to crank 800hp at our 58PSI(4 bar). I don't think I will make more power than that.

There are also bigger high imp injectors like these: Racetronix 01D129xFM Injector

Those are good for up to 1000 crank HP.

Those 79lb(@ 3 Bar) injectors I posted up are good for 1000 HP and do not need the Versafuel or anything else to work.

That is using a BSFC of 60%(0.60), 58PSI(fuel pressure) and 85% IDC.
