    allot of okies here. how long before you start the swap? Btw hope you got allot of flow, for droppin in the 80e. but it will be worth it.

    Hey well i start the swap in the next month, ill drive the little grandma car till its done, and Flow? What are you talkin about the flow... Oh and Melissa i will be ordering a tune for the engine to so expect my order soon !!Thanks guys, and all the help is appreciated!

    me three on the swap but im doing the 6.0 and 80e and i think mine will be done next week. oh and make sure u get the yoke for that 80e for when u have the drive shaft made

    Thanks i hadnt really thought about the yolk... I really wanted to use the 4l80e tranny that comes with the engine. Would that be possible?

    i guess your not hip j/k. Flow is slang for money, which if your going to put that setup in youll need a buttload of.

    If you can find my 80e conversion topic you'll find the part number to use the 80 yoke from the donor vehicle on your stock driveshaft if it's a 1344 size like mine was. 1.125" caps. 1350 size, 1.1875" caps are on the 80e's.

    I will be starting the LS-1 swap in my 82 Blazer in the next couple of weeks, but I am sticking with the built 700R4 that is behind my TBI motor.

    i had the drive shaft place just make it up and they supplied the yoke and my cost was 80 bucks
