What I mentioned above is a little bit. Thats what I did on a set of heads a few years ago. I would mill at least .010+ off of them. Depends on how much compression you want and if you want to change to a different size push rod.

I'd just have them blend the ports to the valve seats and call it good. If you want to have them ported do it the right way and send them off to Texas Speed or someone like that. Patriot will do it for you too. I'm thinking they get about $500 for a CNC port job with valve job. It's been a while so I may be a long ways off. Give them a call and see how much.
