    Wow, according to the instructions you just loosen the clamps on the leaf springs, rotate the rear end to the desired angle and then tighten the u-bolts. DJM flip kit doesn't correct the pinion angle in their kit, you do it by eyeball.

    so i dont need shims?

    so by just by rotating the axsel it should do it?

    The only thing I really eyeballed/measured was where I needed to c-notch the frame. All the parts I installed onto the axle rotated it by itself when I tightened everything up.

    mine were Belltechs and their kit set the angle on the pinion for you. According to JDM&#39;s instructions you&#39;re supposed to just set it however you want the pinion angled and then tighten the u-bolts. Pinion shims will not make any difference because the shims will be above the axle. Belltech has stops on their flip kit that angles the pinion for you.

    JDM?&#33; I&#39;m not running no jap crap on my truck.

    blu: Before you installed the flip kit in the rear, did you have all the factory parts on the rear suspension on there? Or was there already some other kind of lowering kit on the rear?

    i removed the shackles and hangers. i just keept the shocks
