The same circuit that feeds the tail lights brake power can be used to trigger a relay to cut the power off for a TCC. Hook terminal 30 to the brake light wire, 87 to ground, 85 to a switched 12v power circuit and 87a to the transmission TCC power supply wire. When you step on the brake, 12v will activate the relay's coil and disconnect power from the TCC, releasing the lockup convertor.

Sent you a PM. Kinda long, but not too bad.

Yeah, the terminal numbers I was speaking of are the ones on a Bosch type relay.

Think I have that licked. Spliced that brake light to the E connector (Brake Pedal Switch Output - Torque Converter Clutch). Drove around a bit, and haven't gotten those DTCs again. Although driving the truck now seems like the TCC is enabled when pulling off from a dead stop, but it's not. That could also be in the tune. I guess I need to spend more money to have a tuner look at it, and fix what's wrong.

Still don't know whether or not the brake switch mod is locking the TCC. Not really concerned at this point. Good news is....

    *drumroll please*

Trucks running great! Thanks to all that have assisted with suggestions and such! Now, it's time to save a few ducketts for a few dyno pulls. I'd like to have an idea as to where the numbers sit. Then, I can tune from there. Been having a bit of fun this week. I can spin through 1st & into 2nd. 0 - 60mph is accomplished in 6.3s. Not bad, but descent enuff since my '02 Yukon can do that in 9.2 (and still clock 15.88s in 1320). I'm feeling more confident about the high speed vibration. Wondering if that has something to do with the "po-man h-pipe" setup I have. I spin the d-shaft up to 6200 (yeah, truck pulls that high), and don't feel anything til about 90-ish. Trans is in good shape. Wondering if exhaust pressure is trickin' me into thinking it's a driveline issue? Ah well... just thought I'd share.

    1BadC10,

I got this info from Nitrous previously.

The seal kit is AC Delco #15-20058. I got mine on Ebay but Nitrous says any auto parts store that carries AC Delco should have it. And here is the web site for the line block. They also carry fittings. I got one 90 degree and one straight fitting.

    hope this helps!

That, and associating parts, should be posted in a Sticky up top.

Oh, and BTW... while I think I have all the parts I need, I still haven't got around to putting my A/C system together........ In fact I still haven't finished the Camaro's A/C and I've had that swap "complete" for almost 10 years....
