I'm misinformed....I thought I could get a Walbro GSS340 and would just plug in and go using my existing fp assembly...?

Didn't know there was repinning needed. If I get a 96-98 vortec auto zone replacement pump do I still have to repin the harness?

whats everyone using parts wise to rebuild their front end? im thinking of buying the tools an redo the whole front end an lower it 2/4. i like how everyone has long bars...but i think thatd be a huge conflict for DD, pulling trailors...basically being a WT.

    any input would be great

well who wants to take a stab at this.

key off: 10.5v to the 10ga red wire on the hotwire kit.
jump from 10ga to the grey side of harness nothing. reground everything have 10.5v at the big wire an my current ground. jump the grey again, nothing.

i then turn the key on to check volts...4.5v at the 10ga red wire, turn key off 10.5V
    ok..im confused!
turn key off, disconnect the harness from FP. jump the 10ga red wire to the grey while key is off(10.5v) nothing. reground the FP side ground...again nothing.

its late an ive been busting my butt all day at work so i give up tonight.

i guess im going to pull the pump again an see whats going on.
the connector that plugs up inside of the tank..can someone tell me where the grey an black is or post a pic of it?

this is stressing me out. im not going any futher until the fp is figured out.

    thanks in advance

first question, why do you only have 10.5 volts? Check and charge your battery, and clean all terminals and grounds. Do you have a ground wire from the battery going to the frame, body and engine? Do you have 12 volts going to the bus bar on the firewall? The power wires from inside the cab on the passenger side hooked to the bus bar?
