    Okay, let me see what I can put together tire wise... either way I need a taller gear. Thanks for the help!

    I Robert, it depends on your mechanical knowledge and if you have the correct tools. If you need to buy the tools required, it may be cheaper and less frustrating to take it in and have it done.

    its an 06 crew cab with 3.42 gears. The thread mentions the mods to the motor. Tranny is stock. Dyno'd at 384 hp with only 345 on torque. Please advise; thanks!

    Not if you have a 3 speed th400 lol... these gears will be for the Texas mile and will top my setup out at 198mph vs. 158mph with my 4:10's

    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
