yeah...Jon did an awsome job! imo

the wiring isnt bad...you notice the Haynes manual on the windshield lol
i cut everything out but my AC wires, fuel block, water temp, ALT, oil sensor. find the very first pic of the wiring harness...WOW i got stressed just undoing the wiring lol. i shrink wrapped every connection i made an tried my best to make it as neat as i could. i reused my old wire loom..why buy brand new 3.99-5.99 a pack loom when its gonna get dirty anyways.

oh i also dropped my fuel tank...yeah ill never work on a truck thats covered in dried up mud..dang that was a pain!

my motor is a 2008 5.3L so its the NNBS intake covers.
i can fit my my fist in the throttle body, an it swallows the MAF sensor.

i hope to be able to afford Josh Powers A/C bracket soon lol

Stunna: hows your truck coming? i seen in your garage pics...wow i liked the SS look...

Redheartbeat: ok ill try an check it out...i kinda wanna get it up an running then worry with the little things like that. yet i dont want to destroy the u-joints.

stock fuel pump taken apart for the new G7 Grand National fuel pump to be installed

had to lengthen some wires...so it could reach the plug in and such.

yeah im running a returnless simply bc thats how the new truck intakes are. if it becomes a problem ill upgrade to a Pro-Flo an a 6.0

the wiring is exposed just like the stock wiring was. all i did was cut, solder, shrink wrap it together.

btw i hate that o-ring...its a pain in the but an its not perfect bc it wants to walk everywhere

Is the rubber hose between the pump and pressure pipe made of high pressure and fuel resistant rubber, possibly fuel injection quality hose? Many guys have used generic rubber hose and blown it apart, losing almost all fuel pressure.

i wondered that myself bc its not as thick as the stock 5/16 hose i took off...but it came with the kit i ordered so i guess it is.

anything else i may have messed up on tht you may notice redheartbeat? i dont want to run this thing a week an be down a few weeks thanks to a simple change before the start up :/

got a few things done today
    radiator
    e fans
    fuel filter mounted
    carrier bearing replaced

    to do tomorrow
make a cover for the radiator an e fans
install the Nelson Performance E fan harness
    tighten all my fuel fittings
    install my PS/ALT bracket
hook up the Hotwire kit to the ALT
install the Battery in the battery box
run the harness an hook it up to the fuse box
figure out how im going to install the OBD II inside the truck
prep the AC wires for my AC when its time to install them
try my hand at installing the shift kit
    install the stall
    change the tranny filter
make a mounting bracket for the ECM
    buy a bigger tranny cooler
