Going to be ordering my Pacesetter hopefully on tuesday. Is it a bad thing to get painted ones? Will they rust? I know they look ugly, but i dont care, im looking at price. Here is a link to some on Ebay. If they might rust, is there anything to prevent it? Or after i get done welding, can I just spray it with undercoating to prevent the rusting. Thanks in advance.

Wrapping them usually voids any warranty for what it's worth.
From what I've read (not claiming to be all-knowing here...) it can also cause the pipe to corrode quicker due to the increased temps and any gains are minimal to non-existent.

theres a difference in temps underneath the hood for sure... the coated headers are spose to keep the hot exhaust gas flowing and lower the temps..... i know that I can defiently tell underneath the hood when im workin... i went from stock manifolds to the LT's and hands down its cooler for sure
heat = loss of HP
plus if you get just the painted ones, they will rust like you say sooner... IMO save up a lil more money and do the job right
