$2.59 for regular unleaded here. It hurts but I just try to combine trips to town instead of dashing to the store for little things here and there. 5 miles each way to the nearest store adds up.

It's funny, we aren't using any more fuel now than we were before but the price goes up. Our Saudi buddies must have figured out it's easier to fight us by price gouging their oil prices than it is to stop one of our police actions. I guess that's why they targeted the twin towers on 9/11 since that was at the heart of our financial district. The only thing more devestating financially would have been to blow up Wall Street at the opening ringing of the bell.

I paid 2.81 the other day for 89 here in San Diego. There are a few stations that have gone over 3 bucks. I have heard of another that is over 5$ for full service.

Hear in middle GA. 87oct. is $ 2.53. I think 93 oct. 2.68. I paid 2.63 for 93 oct. on Tuesday. I know the gas station across the street went up a dime on gas in one day. We use to own about 7-8 gas stations but we sold them all that mess is to big of a headache.

Cheapest regular(87) in town is at 2.62 today...

BTW, It's the oil companies that are raping us not the middle eastern countries.
Exxon has made a record $7.5 BILLON PROFIT (after paying off everything) and bush just gave oil companies a $1 billion tax cut so essentially they have made $8.5 BILLON in PROFIT this year...

Exactly. Not to mention people don't think about inflation over time leading to price increases on top of that also the limited refining capacity in this country...

I'd be scared if everyone started bitching if they really looked at how prices are going up on all products.

We're finally catching up to the rest of the world in fuel prices. No need to bitch, it's just a big reality check for a lot of people.
