    2008 Silverado 6.0 to 4.8 conversion

Yes 6.0 to 4.8 conversion..........anyways my question is the truck is a 08' crew cab vmax....which needs a new motor..with me having my 4.8 on standby,i got offered some $$$ for the motor and to do the install.....one thing is the vvt cam phaser thing,,,,could i use the 6.0 cam,etc on the 4.8 for the sensor plug?or could this even work?if possible, tuning will be taken care of by Np

You would just need to have the VVT tuned out.

I would think so, as long as the diagnostics are tuned out. Have to check into that a little.
