    Extremely dissapointed....

Well i finally went to run my truck tonight at prairie hill i know not the best track but im sure still accurate....time slip is as follows

    2.45 60'
    10.33 1/8th
    69.48 Mph
    15.94 1/4
    88.7 Mph

this thing feels like im pulling pluto out of the hole and doesnt wanna move till i get to the eighth then it opens up pretty good...i just got my new tune in today for the longtubes and ORY and the shifts feel like poo and just sluggish down low....is this normal with long tubes or did i do something wrong or is it a tuning issue should i call allen? any help would be appreciated.

BTW i saw casey out there.....it looks like a jet turbine on the back of that thing!! watch out guys that thing is nasty fast!!!!

It's "in" the tune, but not in a bad way. It's gotta go through the few hundred mile break in before you'll feel it really come alive again, no worries, just give it some time.

bro it was a HOT & humid night down here in evadale and i am sure it was hot there, anyway, i was off .3 .4 tenths, with a heavy dew point. the later it got the worse it got, for your mods that isnt really bad at all. let the dry air hit and coolness and you'll feel the difference, its only getting hot as summer months approach.

will you be the one to explain this to me? starting to hear this alot here about a tune needing hundred miles for break in.when i got my tune from allen and a few others i was never told it had to have a break in period of driving.

I was watching HPTV the other day and they had an LS1 on an engine dyno. After replacing the PCM (with one that had a different tune) they said the engine ran better each time they tested it. Mentioned something about the computer and engine getting "better acquainted"...that's about as technical as they got but it's the same theory...I don't understand exactly how it works either...smoke and mirrors to me...

Skeet idk if that was supposed to be a mean remark or not, so I won't take it as one. All I can tell you is 90% of people I've talked to say you think his tune is good now, wait till it "kicks" in. I've gathered that the computer takes some time to fully adjust itself to the person's vehicle and when it does it gets better.? My truck does feel faster now than it did right after I put the tune in. Hope I'm somewhat close.
